Provincial Funding

Next Generation Jobs Fund (NGOJF) is a five-year, $1.15 billion strategy to create the next generation of jobs and improve environmental sustainability in key sectors in Ontario including clean technologies and products, clean cars and clean fuels.

Ontario Centres of Excellence: The Centre for Excellence for Earth and Environmental Technologies (ETech) & Centre of Excellence for Energy provide support for industrially relevant R&D through market opportunities and the commercialization of leading edge discovery.

Ontario’s Environmental Leaders Program is a public-private partnership that provides incentives to environmental leaders who commit to meeting beyond compliance environmental targets, and motivates continuous improvement.

Ontario Ministry of Economic Trade and Development

Advanced Manufacturing Investment Strategy (AMIS) encourages companies to invest in leading-edge technologies and processes and to become more innovative and competitive. The repayable loans are interest free for up to the first five years and cover up to 10% of the project costs. Projects must either create or retain 100 or more jobs, or invest $25 million over five years.

Toronto Energy Conservation Fund (TECF)

The strategic objective of the program is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by providing project based financial support to qualified recipients for energy retrofit conservation initiatives in the MASH (municipal, academic, social services and health care) and not-for-profit sector operating in the City of Toronto boundaries

Toronto Green Energy Fund (TGEF)

The strategic objective of the program is to reduce GHG emissions by providing project based financial support to qualified recipients in the MASH (municipal, academic, social services and health care) and not-for-profit sector for the development of renewable energy installations in Toronto
